“She Started It” follows the journey of female founders of technology companies, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like launching and growing a business as a modern woman—documenting everything from raising capital to managing family dynamics. Entefy’s co-founder Brienne is one of the women spotlighted in the film. She recently participated in a panel discussion following a screening of the film at her alma mater, Santa Clara University.
The film’s director Nora Poggi led the panel, which included Brienne, in a lively discussion between the panelists and the audience that delved into the challenges women face professionally, the importance of mentorship, tips for raising capital, and advice for anyone starting a company today.
“She Started It” is being screened at universities and other venues around the world as part of a larger effort to encourage more women to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and entrepreneurship.
